Montse and Bernhard (Bello) embarked on their journey with Pizzeria Bello in 1981. She brought with her a wealth of tourist sector experience acquired in the hotel her parents ran at the time. They opened the restaurant in the centre of town and some time later the restaurant relocated to the seafront with incredible views of the Old town and the bay of Tossa.
Over time, they have merged Italian cuisine with traditional Catalan cuisine and some international dishes.
